I'll start. My favorite heli is my Brushless Walkera 4#3. Being brushless it never needs a new main motor and I love the way it handles. Most people think it's hard to fly but it really isn't. It can do anything but 3D and it's so small I don't have to worry about slight crashes or hard landings. I fly it in my basement so I can fly any time or even late at night.
I have another favorite heli. Its a souped up Falcon 40 by Exceed. It's got a 370 11t motor which allows me to use an 11.1 volt lipo, rather than the 7.4 v without burning out the receiver -major power. I have a metal upgrade head and superskids installed. It's super stable with almost no vibration. If your not a 3D flyer this is a great heli. If anyone asks I'll list a site with all the upgrades for this copter -even a brushless mod if your interested. The place that I got the metal head is usually out of stock but I think I've found an alternate solution. Let me know if your interested.
My favorite heli is the Exceed Falcon 40/Walkera #4/E-SKY HBFP heli. I modifed these helis for brushless and added an 11.1 volt LIPO battery with fuse protection for the Rx and these helis fly just as well as a larger 6-channel heli without the aerobatic inverted flying which I don't really care for. Plus, I hate replacng belt drives and the tail wagging is a constant problem.

My favorite heli remains te 4-channel Exceed Falcon 40/Walkera #4/E-SKY HBFP once they have been modified with an 11.1v LIPO and fuse installation. Then you can immediately move to a brushless main motor system. These birds fly just as well as a 6-channel CP Heli. The only difference is that you cannot do any aerobatic inverted flying.
These helis are nice o fl as they aren't big and bulk yet aren't as small that the wind can just blow the heli away.
